Always a treat to come here. I have had their lunch special before work. The platter orders are great, and in a timely manner. One of my favourite sushi places to go. The stuff are great. The diner takes you back a decade in decor; it adds charm to stopping in.
The best sushi I've had in Canada (outside Vancouver) is at this restaurant. Always fresh and handmade by Calvin. This is true Japanese sushi and it is absolutely delicious.

This is such a cute store. Looks like a husband and wife run it. They are so friendly when you walk in the door. The prices are amazing considering it's sushi. Would recommend highly to anyone who comes by. I love mom and pop businesses. (they also do take out)
I was looking for something to eat after shopping at the nearby Upper Canada Mall. I felt like like sushi, and found a place on Google with good reviews, so I decided to try it out. Well I am happy I decided to go here. The service was really friendly and welcoming. The food was really good and I enjoyed everything that was ordered. We started with soft shell crab, and tempura appetizers, both were fresh and hot and crispy. For the entrees we got steak bento, and sushi and sashimi combo. I didn't realize the dinner bento came with tempura, so I ate alot of tempura(lol...sooo good). I enjoyed the steak and the sushi and sashimi was really fresh. I will gladly comeback, when I visit Newmarket again.
Delicious a-la-carte sushi joint that's been here for over a decade. Newmarket rolls have been a personal favorite. Attentive wait staff. Sushi always tastes fresh, never had a bad experience once!

I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of the food at this sushi restaurant. It's small, but clean and inviting. The staff was also very friendly. The prices are among the lowest in our community, and their lunch deals are excellent. It's a great place for lunch, with plenty of free parking right by the restaurant. I will definitely be returning!
